I've been using your wrist wrap, and it's been doing a lot of good for me. I've had great success with your products.

After helping over 300,000 people we know that we can support you through the entire healing process, because we understand what you're going through! Not only do you get the products you need, but you get our full support. We will help you get better. There's no risk, we guarantee it!
You already know that your muscles pull on your bones to make your body move. And you probably already know that, to do this, there are ropes or bands that your muscles pull on to move the bones and those ropes are called tendons'.
You may or may not know that between the muscles and the bones, these tendons pass through soft but flexible and slippery straws called sheaths. The sheaths are super slippery and stop the moving tendon from rubbing on other tissue around it. And your tendons with their sheaths run through pipes called 'septums' which provide the rigid structure that keeps them held in the right positions through your body.
For De Quervain's, we're talking about one or two specific pipe/straw/ropes (septum/sheath/tendons) connects one or two muscles in your forearm to the outside of your thumb. For your condition, the one or two tendons got damaged, and because you need to keep using your hand, the initial injury is not healing.
We say, 'one or two', because at this level of the body, we're not all built the same. Some people have a big APL muscle and tendon and a smaller EPB muscle and tendon. In other people, these two muscles may actually just have formed as one larger muscle (that still gets called the APL). Similarly, from person to person there may be one big tendon and a little one from each muscle or just one even bigger one. Or, there may even be two tendons at one end that merge together to form one. Or, there can be one or two or more smaller tendons referred to as accessory tendons in the mix for some people. Variations like this may even occur in the same person between their left and right arm!
The point is, your body is unique and your condition is unique. You haven't done anything wrong. You got injured at some point, like everybody does from time to time. In your particular case, with your body's unique design, and how you need to move in the normal course of your day, the combination is just making healing the underlying injury a challenge.
There is so much misinformation online, referring to De Quervain Syndrome as a repetitive strain injury. It's not... in most cases... unless you happen to be doing something very strenuous a whole bunch of times. To be clear, normal day to day activities that aren't extremely strenuous did not cause your condition. A one time injury caused your condition and it just hasn't healed properly.
Now, once the initial injury happened, less strenuous repetitive activities may interfere with the healing but they did not cause the issue in the first place. For certain, if you treat your underlying injury properly and completely you will be able to fully heal the problem. And once the problem is truly gone you will be able to do endless amounts of those repetitive activities again without fear of the problem coming back. In the meantime, you may have to try to reduce the amount of aggravating activity that is stopping your wrist from healing.
Place your hand flat on a table with your thumb as far from your fingers as possible to form an 'L' shape. Now, keeping your hand flat, move your wrist back and forth like you're wiping the table. That motion, specifically when you are moving in the direction of your thumb towards your body, is very highly likely what as happening when you injured yourself. Maybe it was opening a big stiff jar lid with your right hand or closing one tight with your left. Maybe you picked up a baby or small child under their arms and lifted them in the air (think about your hand motion doing that). It may have been a super heavy strain one time (the jar) or a pretty heavy strain a few times (the child), but that type of motion is the type to injure that structure of tendons in your wrist.
Was it wiping the table, or waxing the car maybe? Not a chance. Once you are injured, those activities may definitely hurt, but they were not the initial cause. Your tendons and your muscles are made for that kind of motion. If you are healthy, you can do them all day long and never have any concern. Some thing happened once or a few times, and it would have had to be strenuous to damage those tendons.
Okay, there may be one exception if you had a tight band or strap or elastic or something squeezing your wrist while you were doing that kind of motion. If you put a tight band or elastic around your wrist and even do simple motions, that could also have been the cause. That is really more of an issue for people who already have the condition. If you use a tight band or strap or elastic material around your wrist you are likely to make your condition much worse. Yes, companies actually sell compression sleeves to 'cure' tenosynovitis (all over Amazon), but they are all scams, so don't get caught and make your condition worse.
Remember the way your body works with the tendon in a sheath in a septum (rope in a straw in a pipe). When your tendon gets injured and your body tries to heal it, it swells a bit. Most of the swelling is because your body first puts an extra layer of another tendon-like tissue around the bad spot to reinforce it and give your tendon more strength while it goes through the healing process. It may be thicker for a few weeks or even months depending on how bad the injury was. If the thickness is too thick for the surrounding sheath - the straw - a lot of motion can start to cause wear and tear on the sheath itself. And when the sheath gets injured from too much wear and tear, the body reinforces it with tissue to protect it and it gets thicker too. Then it's perpetual problem. It's so tight in there that any motion now causes more damage and the problem persists. That's De Quervain's Tenosynovitis.
Guaranteed, if you don't move your wrist in that motion for a few months, your body will eventually heal itself. It may take a couple months to mostly heal, but it's possible the underlying tendon injury may take several months to completely heal depending on the extent of the initial injury. But once your tendon and the surrounding sheath are fully healed, you will be able to do all the repetitive activity you want without worrying about it coming back. Again, once you are better the problem will be gone, so this is not going to plague you for the rest of your life.
The challenge for most people is not moving their wrist for a few months. Life doesn't allow us to just stop using one hand. So, the key thing is to go as easy as you can on your hand. When it's at rest it will heal. When you use it, you might take some steps backward. The key is to make the steps backward as few and as small as possible. If you heal more than you hurt yourself each day the issue will eventually go away.
If you want to speed up the process, there are things you can do to reduce the amount of reinjury you do. And there are things you can do to be proactive about making the healing steps as big as possible too.
You can accelerate the healing of your underlying injury. Perhaps have suffered for a long time and feel the situation is becoming hopeless. Or, you may be someone who just wants to be proactive and get back to normal as quickly as possible. Either way, you need to rest your injury and stimulate healthy blood flow. You need Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy® if you want to recover at the fastest rate possible. BFST® Wraps stimulate blood flow in the tendon and sheath, deep below the skin, to accelerate the healing process.
Your circulation is the most critical element in rapid recovery. When you are active, your general motion stimulates the circulation in your tendons. Unfortunately, when you are injured, your level of activity needs to decrease or you will continue to aggravate your condition. While physical activity promotes blood flow, aggressive or strenuous activity can make your Tenosynovitis worse than it already is. BFST® is the solution to this problem.
BFST® Treatments bring additional blood flow to your damaged tissue while you're at rest, creating an ideal environment for healing. This means you can rest and avoid re-injury while your injury receives the high-quality blood flow it needs to heal.
BFST® devices are Class II, FDA registered Medical Devices. They are intended to accelerate healing of De Quervains Syndrome. They are designed to accelerate healing. They do accelerate healing. No disclaimers. No fine print. These are real, legitimate, medical devices to help you get better.
Tendonitis can be so painful and debilitating that it causes us to rely heavily on pain killers. But honestly, pain killers are not your friend. It is understandable that you are looking for the relief from pain. Remember, though, the pain is there to stop us from hurting the area further. The pain is your body saying please stop doing that! While pain killers are a welcome relief, they can be dangerous to take when you're active. Pain killers can completely block the pain signal, making you unaware of any further damage you could be doing to your tendon. Pain killers should be restricted to times of rest.

When it comes to pain killers, some products are much more effective than others. Some can actually help your injury when used correctly and others will only make it worse. According to the National Institute of Health, our own government body tells us that Acetaminophen overdose is the leading cause for calls to Poison Control Centers (>100,000/year) and accounts for more than 56,000 emergency room visits. And acetaminophen (Tylenol) won't help you get better one bit. It only puts you at risk of more injury. If you want help choosing the right pain killer and want advice on how to use it more safely and correctly, give us a call at 1-844-672-9440. We will give you excellent guidance. No charge. No purchase necessary.
To maximize healing and minimize pain and swelling, complete a BFST® treatment right before bed. We can give you advice on potential medication you can take to reduce the pain and help you heal while you sleep. The BFST® treatment will work towards healing while you sleep, and the medication will work to relieve the pain and inflammation so that you can experience restful sleep.
During the day, ColdCure® treatments are the best choice to continue to reduce inflammation after activity. Our medical grade injury tape, KB Support Tape, is excellent for reducing reinjury and pain when you need to be active as well. If you're in pain, give us a call now for free advice 1-844-672-9440.

Avoid the dangers of painkillers. King Brand ColdCure® Wraps are much safer and more effective than painkillers. ColdCure® Wraps start relieving the pain caused from Tendon damage within minutes. There's no need to wait for 20 minutes for your painkillers to start working. There's no need to wait 4 hours between treatments!
ColdCure® Wraps are specifically designed for tendon and synovial sheath injuries. The cold and compression reduce inflammation between the tendon and the sheath. This reduces the amount of swelling that occurs after recent activity and that reduces the amount of wear and tear on the injury going forward. Reducing the internal swelling between the damaged layers is important to stop the reinjury cycle. And you can use them as much as you like, there's no limit like with pills. If there's pain, use your ColdCure® Wrap!
Note that the compression element is only intended for use when you are at rest. As discussed above, using compression on your wrist while you are active has the potential to make your condition worse.
When you're injured, the affected area needs support. But you don't want to be confined and lose your mobility. KB Support Tape is designed to protect your injury and prevent further damage as you go through your daily activities. It really does an amazing job!
Why does KB Support Tape work? Your tendons have a very large range of motion in your body, and too much motion in the wrong direction can cause even more damage. How do we stop the motion? Strengthening the skin does a lot! Applying KB Support Tape over the injured tendon will significantly reduce the excess motion of the tendon. It helps hold the outer layer of pipe in the correct place. It will prevent the skin from stretching and that actually prevents the tendon from stretching, protecting your tendon and helping to stop those sharp pains. That's why we call it armor for your injury.
Professional athletes always tape their injuries. You see it all the time. They know the benefits and they do what they need to, to heal as quickly as possible. KB Support Tape provides safe, high grade, optimal armor for your injury. It is made from the highest quality, hospital grade, biocompatible materials which most sports tapes are not. KB Tape is 100% KB Quality.
Note that you should never wear compression bands or sleeves when you have De Quervains Syndrome. Squeezing your tendons while you are active is one of the worst things you can do. Squeezing your tendons increases the stress on them and increases the abrasion in the tendon sheath. Taping supports the tendon piping without squeezing the inner sheath and tendon. Do this and your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis can truly heal - finally.

King Brand® soft tissue rehabilitation medical products are the #1 choice of top Athletic Therapists and Medical Practitioners worldwide. We provide guaranteed results and customer satisfaction. Try our products and if you're not completely impressed, you can send them back for a full refund. We know you will love them though because hundreds of thousands of people already use them and rave about the results.

The King Brand® products shown are FDA Registered medical devices. That is not all. They have also been registered with Health Canada which means they received twice as much review.

FDA and Health Canada Registration does not mean that we filled out a form to become Registered. Our medical claims are significant, and because of these claims the various agencies have looked deep into our technology.
We have submitted to FDA our proprietary research and technology to back up the claims that we make.
King Brand has participated in far more than a basic registration process. All the agencies have come to our facilities for week-long inspections to ensure that the end user is always receiving the safest, most effective medical devices we can offer. With two different countries of regulators this means our products have twice the oversight, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.
It is not required by the government agencies, but we are also ISO-13485 compliant and registered. This enforces medical standards that are established by the International Standards Organization for global manufacturers of medical devices. This means more on-site, week long, audits every year, ensuring our quality and products meet strict international standards.
Beyond what is required by any regulator, we use only the safest materials in our products. ISO-10993 regulation ensures that our products are made from higher quality materials than most baby products, including diapers. This is the highest bio-compatibility safety standard in the world. This is the highest hospital grade - think Intensive Care and Operating Rooms. Our materials go through ISO-10993 testing to ensure they are safe for you. No consumer products are produced to this high standard.
King Brand products are, in fact, hospital grade through and through. IEC-60601 is the International Standard for Medical Device safety from an electrical standpoint. In spite of the BFST® being an electrical device, BFST® can be used in hospital emergency rooms and operating rooms without affecting other equipment. You can use any medical device with a BFST® and neither device will know the other one is there. This is a very tough standard to meet, but we do it and you benefit.
King Brand products meet over 20 different safety and quality standards that are not required even for medical devices and FDA registration. If we think there is anything that can be done to make our products safer and more effective, we have done it. That is the approach to everything we do and that is why our company and products are so highly regarded.

KB Support Tape™ - Protection from Re-Injury
Too busy to be injured? Have to keep going? Then KB Support Tape is your "must have". Constant re-injury is often the biggest reason your wrist doesn't heal. It heals when at rest but when you get back to your daily routine, the injury gets worse.
Athletes are always taped up. That's to prevent against re-injury while they are active. And KB Support Tape™ is the best for that purpose. Taping is very under-appreciated and very effective. If you have to keep moving, you have to tape.
The color is purely your sense of style. The Pre-Cut Strips are super convenient, but the Continuous Roll gives you more control over how you tape your wrist and you get the most use out of a single roll.
This Rechargeable Battery Pack is designed to make your BFST® Wrap completely mobile. It attaches anywhere on your wrap and lasts for a minimum of 15-20 treatments, depending on what level you're on. This means you can do your treatments wherever you go! You can do treatments in the car, at work, or while you're doing chores around the house, all without being plugged in. Use it wherever the day takes you.
The Battery Pack is easily charged using your BFST® power supply. The indicator lights on the Battery let you know when it needs to be charged again. It takes approximately 4 hours to achieve a full charge when the Battery is at 0%.
The Battery Pack makes it so much simpler to get in your 3-4 BFST® treatments per day, because you don't have to wait around while you're plugged into an outlet anymore.
The Rechargeable Battery Pack is specifically designed to work with any BFST® Wrap. Your BFST® Wrap comes with the components you need for treatments and to charge the Battery.
I've been using your wrist wrap, and it's been doing a lot of good for me. I've had great success with your products.

Customer: 33436892 ColdCure Wrist Dec 09, 2021
The BFST treatments are very comfortable and soothing. The BFST® uses Electromagnetic Energy to stimulate blood flow underneath the surface of the skin. It is warm, but not hot. It does not vibrate like a massager. (You shouldn't use a massager on soft tissue injuries) It does not cause your muscles to tense in jolts like with a TENS machine. (TENS machines are very bad for soft tissue injuries) The BFST® isn't supposed to do either of those things. Rather, it is soothing and sometimes gives you a gentle tingling sensation in the treatment area. BFST treatments are very pleasant and enjoyable.
Don't be confused, while the treatments feel gentle, they are still very powerful. Think about an X-RAY or an MRI. Even though you don't feel the energy during those procedures, a lot of energy is definitely going deep into your body. If you put your ear close to the BFST when it is on, you can actually hear it going through the cycles. It's not loud, but you can hear it if you listen. It isn't just delivering one energy level at one frequency. Just like an MRI machine, the BFST buzzes and hums and gets louder and more quiet as it goes through the treatment cycle. It sounds just like a mini-MRI machine. Over the 20 minute treatment period it goes through a treatment cycle to deliver the most energy in the most effective way. It is designed to help give you the fastest healing time possible, in the comfort of your home.
During each BFST® treatment you will only feel a mild warming sensation. If it feels hot, you are using it on too high of a setting. Over time, after several treatment sessions, the treatments will feel like they are getting less and less warm. This is your body responding to the BFST® treatments by increasing your subdermal blood flow. The more BFST treatments you do, the less warmth you're going to feel. This is a good sign. Your tissue is becoming healthier. Your body is getting stronger. This means that your circulation through your injury is improving, and your injury is improving. When the feeling of warmth during a treatment is almost all gone, this is the signal that it is time to move up to the next level. People usually move up to the second level after a few weeks of treatment.

To minimize pain and swelling in your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, complete a ColdCure® treatment any time your pain level increases, or if you have been active. The ColdCure® Wrist Wrap provides superior relief of the swelling and pain that comes with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. ColdCure® Wrist Wraps use cold and compression together, because cold and compression are the two things you need to eliminate pain and swelling as quickly and effectively as possible. Don't let the pain of your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis control you. Don't count the hours between pain relieving devices. If your wrist hurts, just apply the ColdCure® Wrist Wrap. The application of cold compression must be uniform and complete if it's going to work the best. This is why the ColdCure® Wrist Wrap has been custom designed to perfectly fit your wrist, and to perfectly target the pain of your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis.

KB Support Tape™ is the perfect compliment to a quick recovery. Without restricting your range of motion KB Support Tape™ is powerful, even if you can't feel it. Perfectly protecting your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, KB Support Tape™ provides maximum protection so you don't have to deal with the constant re-injury cycle that quite often comes from De Quervain's Tenosynovitis. Your wrist moves a lot through the day, and when you're injured you feel every little movement. You can't stop and wait for your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis to go away. KB Support Tape™ is designed to protect your tendons, muscles and ligaments and prevent further damage as you go through your day.
Professional athletes always tape their injuries. You see it all the time. They know the benefits and they do what they need to, to heal as quickly as possible. KB Support Tape™ provides safe, high grade, optimal armor for your injury. It is made from the highest quality, hospital grade, biocompatible materials which most sports tapes are not. KB Tape is 100% KB Quality.
BFST® stimulates blood flow to your thumb, hand and wrist while you are at rest. This is very important because you need to stop using your thumb and wrist in order to prevent re-injury, but blood flow can be seriously impeded while at rest. BFST® treatments will provide your tendons with the high-quality, healthy blood flow required to heal your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis properly and quickly.
BFST® treatments are very pleasant and relaxing. Often people notice a slight tingling sensation and warmth deep in the treatment area as the BFST® starts the blood flowing. For optimal results, we recommend doing 3-4 treatments per day. An ideal treatment regimen would be doing one treatment first thing in the morning, one in the afternoon, one in the evening, and the last treatment of the day right before bed.

Almost as important as the promotion of blood flow is the reminder of your condition. Without the reminder, we risk feeling a false sense of ability that can cause us to overdo it and re-strain our injury. Avoiding re-injury is fundamental to rapid recovery. That's why the BFST® device is designed to be worn even when turned off, to help protect your thumb and wrist from further damage. This goes a long way towards shortening your recovery time. When your BFST® treatment ends, simply unplug the controller from the device and gently tighten the straps to provide your thumb and wrist with light support and protection.
If you want to heal your De Quervain's Tenosynovitis as quickly as possible and return to your regular activities, use the ColdCure® and BFST® Wrist Wraps. While tape is effective for preventing further damage, if you really want to heal your wrist, you need to address the root of the problem. ColdCure® Treatments should be used any time your pain level increases, either after activity or when you notice an increase of pain in your wrist.
During less active times of the day start doing BFST® treatments. The BFST® Wrap will promote blood flow to your De Quervain's, helping to repair the damaged tissues. Treatments are simple: plug the device in, turn it on and rest. The effects of each 20 minute treatment last for up to 4 hours. For best results, do 3-4 treatments per day, spread out over the course of your day.
Apply KB Support Tape to your wrist after your first BFST® treatment. Leaving the KB Support Tape on your wrist all day will prevent re-injury and relieve pressure on the affected tendon. You can wear it during all of your daily activities and it won't restrict your range of motion. KB Support Tape is designed to work with BFST® and ColdCure® treatments.

Avoid the dangers of pain killers. King Brand ColdCure® Wrist Wraps are much safer and more effective than pain killers. ColdCure® Wraps start relieving the pain caused from De Quervain's Tenosynovitis within minutes. There's no need to wait for 20 minutes for your pain killers to start working. There's no need to wait 4 hours between treatments! ColdCure® Wraps are specifically designed for your wrist. It doesn't matter what size your wrist is, this is a custom wrap specifically designed to reduce the swelling in your wrist, and you can use them as much as you like. If there's pain, apply your ColdCure® Wrap!

I just want to say, I made a mistake.
The first time I had this tendonitis, was when it flared up a few months ago. I came across the site and at first I said, "Yeah that probably doesn't work". Eventually I did buy one, months later. I regret now that I didn't spend the money and buy when I found it, because in just a few days I felt the difference. I bought it this time because I was desperate and I knew I could get my money back if it doesn't work.
I was totally skeptical. First of all, I didn't believe a cold therapy could do anything different. Yeah it does. The first time I put on the cold wrap I was like, "Oh my God!" Like, within 5 minutes. It was obvious there was a difference. Cold really does help the pain. It was better even than an ice pack. And it stayed cold for 20 minutes, just like they said.
The BFST thingy seems to work too. I'm a lot better now.

For dealing with the swelling and pain that comes with De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, nothing works better than our cold compression wrap.
ColdCure® technology was developed specifically to address the need for a cold compression device that does not freeze the skin and underlying tissue. ColdCure® gel packs pose no threat of cold burns. This makes them much safer to use than products that contain ice, which may cause the skin to freeze, leading to permanent damage. Our gel packs are completely safe to use for extended treatment durations, meaning faster relief of pain and swelling. Our ColdCure® technology is a huge improvement on regular ice packs.
The ColdCure® Wrist Wrap is made entirely of soft, stretchy material. It wraps around your thumb and wrist and applies a very gentle pressure over the entire affected area. The wrap comes with 3 swappable cold packs that contain our unique XC RigiGel® formula. XC RigiGel® holds its form and doesn't move around inside the pack, meaning it stays in place over your thumb and wrist at all times. Our gel doesn't move, even under heavy pressure for long periods of time. The gel packs are inserted inside the wrap one at a time, so you can have the other two charging in the freezer to keep your therapy going. We recommend that you do a 20 minute ColdCure® treatment followed by a 20 minute break, cycling treatments like this throughout the day, or as long as you need the relief.
KB Support Tape provides lightweight, comfortable compression to relieve your swelling throughout the day. It also helps to prevent re-injury by giving your healing tissue targeted support and protection without restricting your range of motion.

KB Support Tape comes in 2 different styles: Pre-Cut Strips and a Continuous Roll. These styles also come in 3 colors: Blue, Black & Beige. There's no functional difference between the colors, they just allow you to express your individual style.
The Pre-Cut Strips of KB Support Tape are fast, easy and convenient. Since they're already cut into ready-to-use strips, you can just apply and go! Every roll of Pre-Cut KB Support Tape contains 20 individual strips. Each Pre-Cut Strip is 2 inches wide and 10 inches long.

The Continuous Rolls of KB Support Tape are perfect for you if you're looking for a more customizable Tape. You can cut the Tape into a variety of different shapes and sizes to achieve a completely unique application for your injury. Each box contains 1 Continuous Roll of KB Support Tape that is 2 inches wide and 16 feet long.
While we found the application shown to be effective for De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, we encourage you to experiment with different applications to find the one that works best for you. No two injuries are alike. The most important thing is to put an 'X' or 'T' over the spot that hurts most. When applying the Tape, trust the pain and use it as a guide. If you are feeling pain in a specific area of your thumb, hand or wrist, apply the Tape there.
What sets KB Support Tape apart from other tapes? It's not athletic tape, it's medical tape. This means our Tape is manufactured to ISO 10993 standards, which ensures our Tape is made from extremely safe, biocompatible materials. Our Tape is actually made from materials that are safer than most baby products, including diapers, toys and clothing.
Don't let the big brand tapes fool you! Most of them are made from toxic materials, because there are no standards for athletic tape. Some big brand tape glues even contain carcinogenic ingredients. At King Brand®, your health and safety is of utmost importance, which is why KB Support Tape® is manufactured to such high standards.
This Rechargeable Battery Pack is designed to make your BFST® Wrap completely mobile. It lasts for a minimum of 15-20 treatments, depending on what level you're on.
*The Rechargeable Battery Pack is specifically designed to work with all of our BFST® Wraps. It's fully interchangeable. Your BFST® Wrap comes with the components you need for treatments and to charge the Battery.
I like that they are easy to put on, and I can use them on different places of my body. I like the Velcro straps, and I like how the Cold wrap has the 3 of the gel packs to go with it

BFST® + ColdCure® Treatments
BFST® for Rapid Healing
ColdCure® for Pain & Swelling
KB Tape to Prevent Re-Injury
Combination Therapy means using ColdCure® and BFST® in combination by alternating treatments, as well as using KB Support Tape. Combination Therapy is much more effective than using just ColdCure® or just BFST®. This is because you're getting both the pain and swelling relief of ColdCure®, the healing benefits of BFST®, as well as the protection and re-injury prevention of KB Support Tape. The combination results in the absolute best treatment for your injured wrist tendon.
A very important part of treating your condition is to use the ColdCure® Wrap. This will help to help reduce the inflammation you may have and cannot see, deep down in the soft tissue. You can use it several times a day. Use it anytime you want pain relief and after any significant exercise of your wrist even if it doesn't hurt afterward.
You should rely more heavily on ColdCure® treatments immediately after exercise because the inflammation will continue to re-develop when you are active. Being aggressive with back to back cold treatments after exercise will give your body a chance to get ahead of the inflammation, and prepare your wrist for the blood flow that's needed to help heal quickly.

Introduce your BFST® treatments at your less active times of day and before significant exercise if you have to do some. Keep your swelling and inflammation under control with ColdCure® but do not use ColdCure® and BFST® close together. Use BFST® in the morning, before bed, and after longer periods of resting your injury. When doing your treatments, you should only feel a slight warming sensation. At any time, if it feels HOT or uncomfortable, the treatment will not be as effective as if it is just mildly warm.
Each BFST® Treatment will last only 20 minutes, but the increase in blood flow will last up to four hours. Ideally your treatments should be spaced out throughout the day, so you can promote good blood flow all day long. If you can't do 3-4 treatments a day, your two most important treatments are first thing in the morning, and right before you go to bed. This will ensure that you have a great start to your day and you can rest well at night.
If you are planning on being active throughout the day, complete a BFST® treatment before any type of physical activity. It can be as simple as mopping the floor. Always assess how you are feeling after your activity, as there's a chance you may need to apply your ColdCure® to treat any new inflammation generated during your activities.
The goal with your BFST® Treatments are not to increase on the levels as quickly as possible, but to condition your circulatory system to allow for the much needed increased blood flow. Staying on the lowest level to where you feel any warmth - remember it's just a slight warmth - will be the most effective way to start healing your condition. When can you move up to the next level? You can move up in levels when you feel barely any warmth from the wrap at all. This means that you've successfully conditioned your circulation and you're ready to move up. Some people can move up in a few weeks, some people it takes a lot longer. It just depends on how well your body adjusts to the increase in blood flow.
Do a ColdCure® treatment any time you experience a pain flare-up or after any physical activity to prevent further injury and reduce swelling and inflammation. Remember, staying on top of your inflammation will allow you to complete more BFST® treatments throughout the day.
Wait 30-45 minutes after your ColdCure® treatment before doing another BFST® treatment. This time will allow the blood flow and body temperature to regulate again. Refrain from using ColdCure® within the 4 hours following your 20 minute BFST® treatment, unless you notice an increase in pain during your BFST® Treatment.
ColdCure® treatments will slow down the blood flow, which isn't ideal, but is sometimes necessary to relieve the swelling and inflammation generated. The BFST® will increase your blood flow which is important for faster healing.
KB Support Tape™ is very important to help with your condition's recovery. As you move throughout the day, your skin and your tendons move with you. Using the KB Support Tape™ over your injury will make your skin less flexible - therefore protecting your injury - without restricting your range of motion. KB Support Tape™ can be used at the same time as your BFST® and ColdCure® Treatments without any issues. Try to have your first BFST® treatment of the day without the KB Support Tape™ applied. After your BFST® treatment has been completed, then apply the tape. Removing the tape before the last BFST® treatment of the day will provide the best results.
When you're recovering from De Quervain's Syndrome, the pain ends long before you've finished healing. In fact, the pain is usually gone once your tissue is about 20-30% healed. The entire healing process is very complex, and takes much longer than most people realize. (You can click here for the full story on tissue healing). The key thing to remember is that long after the pain stops, your underlying injury is still healing. This means you need to keep doing BFST® treatments in order to complete the healing process. Doing regular BFST® treatments for several months after the pain is gone is extremely beneficial. Do a BFST® treatment prior to any physical activity. This will act as a warm up for your circulatory system. You should also continue to use KB Support Tape to help protect the wrist tendon from re-injury.
I love my BFST wrap!
The convenience of the 20 minute built-in timer made it so easy to use. I used it 3 - 4 times a day, and after about 3 weeks on a torn bicep tendon, I was able to start a gentle work out! Now I use it 1 - 2 times a day as I continue to heal, and I am now up to level 2 on the controller.
This is an excellent in-home treatment!
Thank you!

BFST® Wraps are Class II FDA Registered medical devices. This means they are manufactured and tested to very high standards of quality, safety and performance. BFST® Wraps comply with hundreds of pages of regulations and standards that are in place to keep you safe and ensure effective treatments. Manufacturers of consumer grade products can't say the same.
The Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy® (BFST®) Wrap is designed to promote blood flow in the injured tissue below the dermal (fat and skin) layer. Utilizing our proprietary Energy Web®, specially controlled and incredibly safe EMR energy envelops the affected body part and stimulates blood flow in the soft tissue deep beneath the skin. The resulting stimulation brings oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the injured area, accelerating the healing process.

BFST® Wraps come with a 3 level power controller. Everyone should start their treatments at Level 1 and work their way through the levels gradually as they heal. Proceeding immediately to Level 2 or 3 will not speed up your healing time. You need to condition the body first.
When you first start your treatments on Level 1, you may feel a slight warming sensation in the treatment area. This is because, at first, your circulation is poor. The more treatments you do, the better your circulation will become and the less warmth you will feel. This is good. As the warmth lessens from treatment to treatment, this is an indication that your circulation is improving. Better circulation means blood flow all the time, not just during treatments. This is the goal. When you feel almost no warmth during a treatment, it is time to move up to the next power level. Don't rush it though, more heat doesn't mean better treatment. In fact, less heat means better treatment, so take your time moving up in levels.
BFST® Wraps far surpass heating pads in terms of therapeutic benefits. Heating pads can't penetrate deep down to the soft tissue like BFST® Wraps can. All heating pads do is bring blood to the surface of your skin, making it hot to the touch. BFST® Wraps work to actively heal your damaged tissue by bringing additional blood flow to the injured area. The difference is significant.
The Energy Web® of the BFST® Wrist device is enclosed inside a soft, comfortable neoprene wrap. It conforms to the shape of your thumb, hand and wrist to ensure that the area receives an even distribution of energy during treatment. The Velcro® straps make it easy to find a customized fit for your thumb and wrist. You don't need to remove the BFST® Wrap after your treatments. The device's electrical components easily disconnect so you are free to move around your home when not receiving treatments, while still wearing the wrap for support and comfort.
I am currently using your product for the wrist, the BFST wrap.
I just want to say, I have been using it since, I think May, and it's really helped a lot. My wrist has - I'm not exaggerating - gotten tremendously better, a lot better, because I couldn't even turn it certain ways before. So it has gotten a lot better.

ColdCure® Wraps are FDA Registered Class I medical devices. They exceed all government and health agency regulatory requirements for cold therapy, specifically for use in treating soft tissue injuries. When applied, the ColdCure® Wrap immediately reduces the risk of further damage from excessive swelling. Doctors and Therapists agree that controlling swelling is a fundamental part of reducing long-term permanent damage resulting from soft tissue injuries.
All of our ColdCure® Wraps are entirely made of very soft, stretchy material. They come with 3 swappable cold packs that contain our unique XC RigiGel® formula. The gel packs are inserted inside the wrap one at a time, so you can have the other two charging in the freezer to keep your therapy going. Do your ColdCure® treatments in 20 minute intervals throughout the day, or as long as you need the relief.
Many people follow the RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation - formula when treating a soft tissue injury. While RICE is a popular method, the reality is that ice can actually freeze your skin and numb your nerves, causing 'cold burns' and even permanent damage to your skin and underlying tissue. The proper solution is RCCE® - Rest, Cold, Compression & Elevation. We don't want to apply ice - we want to apply cold that is just above freezing. Yes, you want cold - and lots of it - but not so cold that it is below the freezing point of water.
ColdCure® RigiGel® packs are much safer and more effective than ice and products that use mushy blue gel.
Why?
Because RigiGel® packs are like ice, but they stay at 32°F, the exact and best temperature for pain relief.
While they may start at about -4°F straight from the freezer, after a few minutes they will go to 32°F and stay at 32°F for a long time.

Not all freezers are the same so we build extra safety into the packs. If you find the gel pack too stiff from the freezer to use in the wrap, that's because it came out too cold to be safe. Leave it out for 1-2 minutes though and it's good to go! Then it will bend enough for inserting it inside the wrap. When the pack is soft enough to bend, it's ready to use for treatment. So simple and so safe!
More Gel = More Cold. XC Gel® packs contain 3x more gel by weight than ordinary gel packs. This means they cover a much larger area. When stored in the freezer, XC Gel® packs have 10x more cooling power than other products. So, you get longer treatments without having to recharge the gel packs as often. It also means faster relief of pain and swelling. Bigger gel packs with more gel inside, plus superior cooling power, ultimately means a better, more effective treatment.
Regular gel packs are notorious for having hot and cold spots. When cold pressure is applied to an injury, the gel starts to warm up in that specific spot faster than the rest of the pack. Our XC RigiGel® packs distribute cold energy evenly throughout the entire gel pack. The energy in our gel packs is transferred from the cold spots to the warm spots much more effectively. This is a valuable improvement as your injury will receive a consistent cold treatment, every time. The temperature balancing power of this gel formula is unmatched.
XC RigiGel® is firm yet flexible. We describe it as 'gel that bends like rubber' because even though it bends and molds to the shape of your body, it always stays in place. Unlike gooey blue gel that easily gets pushed to other areas of the wrap, our gel won't flow away from your injured spot. Even under very extreme pressure, it stays soft, but it won't budge. No matter how much pressure, the gel always stays in place over your injured spot. RigiGel conforms to the painful area for an even, consistent treatment every time.
ColdCure® Wrist gel packs are specially designed to conform to your thumb and wrist to provide your injury with an even distribution of cooling power. Every one of our ColdCure® Wraps comes with gel packs that are custom designed for the body part to ensure the best fit and treatment possible. We don't just use one generic gel pack shape. Every body part is uniquely shaped, which is why all of our gel packs are uniquely shaped too. If you want a product that is 100% designed to treat De Quervain's Tenosynovitis, you need the ColdCure® Wrist Wrap.

XC RigiGel® packs have 2 different colored sides: a white side and a gold side. Both sides will give you all the same benefits that our high performance XC RigiGel® formula has to offer. The gel packs can be inserted inside the wrap with the white side facing towards your thumb and wrist or away from your thumb and wrist since they are not side specific.
