Treatment Questions / Re: Turf Toe
« on: July 03, 2013, 09:02:36 AM »
tompat75,

It is always best to call in and speak to one of our customer service representatives.

However both (BFST & ColdCure) foot wraps measure 9 inches in length, or a size 9.5 (U.S Shoe Size). Specifically with the BFST, the stimulated blood would circulate throughout your entire foot, when applied, helping your torn ligament heal over time, and naturally. When concerning the ColdCure wrap, the gels may be moved towards the toe or the heal, and would affect the underside of the applied area. Alternatively, the ColdCure Wrist wrap is much more maneuverable and could be wrapped around the toes to target specifically the large toe.

Again, please call us so we can better understand your specific case, and we can help you make the right decision.

Thank you for your post tompat75!

General Discussion / Re: Joint Pain & Diet
« on: June 21, 2013, 04:46:51 PM »
Hi eightthirty,

Diet can be the source of most health issues, and altering your diet or eliminating certain foods from your diet can help immensely.

Foods like sugar, alcohol, dairy, and soy products, can contribute to inflammation problems, and drinks like coffee and soft drinks do not help at all.

Eating more fruits and vegetables, which contain natural anti-inflammatories, will help reduce the amount of inflammation in your body. Vegetables like Kale, are high in antioxidants, which helps ease away pain. Spices like Turmeric contain high amounts of anti-inflammatory properties.

There are many studies to support many theories, but a healthy diet and lifestyle is always the best choice.

Thanks for your question!

Hi pcwineguy64,

Thank you for your post!

Unfortunately there is no extension available for the BFST controller.

Aside from that we don't recommend that people wear our products while they sleep. You can do a twenty minute treatment prior to going to bed, which will stimulate your blood flow for upwards of four hours. Then when you wake up, do a treatment in the morning to alleviate any stiffness in your foot.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to call us toll free at 1-877-661-5239. We are available 7 days a week until midnight EST.

Thank you for your question, I hope we were helpful.

Treatment Questions / Re: Turf Toe
« on: June 14, 2013, 09:26:22 AM »
Hi Tompat75,

Thank you for your post.

To begin treating your turf toe, you should apply ColdCure Foot Wrap for at least 48 hours; the ColdCure Foot wrap will help alleviate any swelling, inflammation and acute pain from the injury. Keeping off your foot and reducing all activities temporarily will assist in reducing the swelling and inflammation.

Once you have eliminated the swelling and inflammation, you should begin treatments with our BFST Foot wrap; the BFST Foot wrap will stimulate your bodies natural to heal, by sending high amounts of oxygen and nutrients to your foot. The BFST is an excellent treatment for soft tissue injuries. The increased blood flow to your foot will allow your ligament an opportunity to heal.

Both products use in combination will allow you to return to activity sooner, and will help prevent further re-injury.

Thank you for your post, and if you have time today, give us a call so we can further explain the treatment options, and our combo therapy. Toll free - 1-877-661-5239

Hi Mikeyz,

Thanks for your post.

Our ColdCure shoulder products would help with any pain and swelling that has surfaced due to the damage. However with a "Complete Thickness Tear," you should be consulting your doctor about surgery. Our BFST Shoulder products will help heal torn ligaments, tendons and soft tissue, but when dealing with a complete tear or rupture, you should be seeking consultation of your doctor. If you do decide to go with surgery, our BFST and ColdCure products are a great post-surgery treatment.

If you have any more questions, or need more information, do not hesitate to call our Customer Service Team, toll free at 1-877-661-5239, we are here 8am-Midnight (EST), 7 days a week.

Treatment Questions / Re: Neck Injury
« on: May 27, 2013, 03:01:20 PM »
Thank you for the question 'Sweets'. Currently, we do not have any products designed specifically for the neck; however, you can use the wrist wrap or a leg wrap (depending on size preference) to accommodate your neck. The ColdCure will help with pain, inflammation and swelling, meanwhile the BFST Wrap will help with long term issues by gradually resolving your neck problems. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Treatment Questions / Re: Best way to treat Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
« on: May 03, 2013, 04:15:06 PM »
Hi AmadeusReborn, carpal tunnel syndrome can be extremely painful, as you well know. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is caused by inflammation around the median nerve, which is created from performing tasks that require repetitive use of your wrists. In your case this would be typing and writing all day, which can get very repetitive. Some treatments that people suffering from CTS employ to get better involve surgery in the carpal tunnel area. This solution might work for some in the short term, but you will never fully recover from a surgery. As for wrist exercises, keep in mind that CTS is caused by stretching or overusing the median nerve. Stretching to try and improve CTS will actually injure you further.

To reduce Carpal Tunnel Syndrome pain and help heal, you need to reduce the inflammation around the median nerve. One of the best ways to reduce inflammation is to use cold. Cold not only reduces the inflammation around the nerve but also relieves the pain you feel everyday. I recommend using a ColdCure Wrist wrap, which is designed to fit around the area and spread cold evenly over the painful area, which is exactly what you want. They can also hold cold much longer than other gel packs, meaning you can wear it for extended periods of time while working without needing to change the gel to a fresh one often. ColdCure wraps are very comfortable as well, so you won't have issues with discomfort.
