Treatment Questions / Re: metatarsal pain/ pain on side of foot
« on: October 24, 2016, 04:04:26 PM »
Thank you for your interest in King Brand.  The Coldcure is recommended to help treat the pain and inflammation.  The less inflammation you have the better your blood will flow through.

We recommend the use of cold multiple times a day for a few days to ensure any lingering inflammation is taken care of.  You would then always go back to the cold when needed.

After the first few days and when you notice a decrease in your pain level, we recommend the use of the BFST wrap.  You will use this 3-5 times a day 20 minutes at a time.  This will optimize your circulation to help heal and repair the damaged tissues.

We also sell support tape which will help support your foot while you are healing and help prevent against over straining.

Generally when treating, Coldcure when you are in pain and then routinely using the BFST to keep good circulation.  We do not recommend the use of heat as it doesn't really do much for the overall healing process.

I hope this information helps.  I have included a few useful links to our website below.
Regards,
Ashley

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: About ACL injury
« on: May 16, 2016, 02:55:46 PM »
There is no specific answer unfortunately.  It all depends on the severity of the tear, type and location of the tear.  There has been success stories where people have avoided surgery but it may not be the same in your case.  With many of our customers, if they know surgery is potentially in their future, they will try our products to see if they can avoid it.  If they still need it further down the road, our products are also a great aid in surgery recovery.

Take a look through our testimonials to see some of our customers reviews.

Questions & Answers About Our Products / Re: About ACL injury

Thank you for your interest in King Brand.  Absolutely, the BFST can help injuries as old as 5 or 20 years.  BFST is promoting blood flow and optimal circulation to the affected area.  As long as you are also keeping inflammation down, keeping good, nutrient blood flow through the knee will help heal any damaged tissues.  One 20 minute treatment will promote the circulation for a good 3-4 hours after.  Recommended treatment in the beginning would be 3-5 times a day.

Because it is an older injury, it may not fix it completely but will give you a lot more relief on those cold days compared to now.

I hope this information helps and wish you all the best.

The heat is minimal and inconsistent through the levels.  As long as you are feeling a slight warming sensation, it is working.
As a comparison to a heating pad, if it was a hot heat, that would ultimately bring the blood flow to the surface of the skin away from the tissue that needs it.
Keep up with a good routine.  That is when you will notice the most improvement.

No, the BFST is not a patented device.

Treatment Questions / Re: Torn ACL

Michael,
Sorry to hear about your injury.  General guidelines in moving through the levels is based on how you feel with the treatment.
Stay on level 1 until you do not feel much from the treatment, meaning warmth or stimulation.  There is no exact time line.  It could be 1 day, 1 week or 1 month.  It all depends on the individual.
When you move up a level, as long as you do not feel discomfort it, it is ok to continue on that level.
Do not focus on time line as everyone is different, focus on how you feel during and the hours after the treatments.  I have attached a link below to further instructions on using the BFST.

We wish you the best in your recovery and let us know if you have any further questions.

Tony,

I am not sure what you mean by a small plastic piece but I do know you should not be removing anything from the energy web.  All internal pieces of the web have a purpose and probably would not work if tampered with and would also void your 1 year warranty.
My only suggestion would be to try to manoeuvre the wrap and wear it in a different way to not have that piece over your injury.  The BFST stimulates the blood flow through that surrounding area so, if it is slightly off the injured spot it should still be beneficial.
Best of luck. Let us know if any further questions.

Kind Regards

Treatment Questions / Re: Bicep Tendonitis
« on: January 17, 2016, 08:25:11 PM »
Generally, pain is a good indication of inflammation.  On the bad days keep up with cold.  There is not much benefit in stimulating blood flow to an inflamed area.  Use the cold until your pain level has decreased and then move on to combination treatment.
I hope this helps.  If you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us.

Interesting thought.  We actually recommend only using the products on 10% of the body.  A full suit might make you a little light headed.

Keep an eye on our web site.  We are currently developing a rechargeable battery pack for the BFST.  Hopefully will be available within the next couple months.

BFST will not interfere with the prolotherapy.  However, after this I would assume you would need to use cold therapy to get the inflammation down after any injections.  Talk with your physical therapist regarding the time expectation after a treatment before you start stimulating the blood flow again.  I would assume at least 48-72 hours.

Wearing braces definitely help throughout the healing process and I would recommend still using them as long as they are not tight enough to restrict any blood flow.  The purpose of the brace would be to help prevent over straining and re-injuring. You do not want to compress the wrist at all, you want to keep optimal blood flow through the area.

Tony,

Thank you so much in your interest in King Brand. By using the BFST product for your TFCC, it will promote and accelerate your healing process with regular use.  We always recommend treating with cold therapy to get and keep inflammation down to enable the blood to flow through more freely.  By keeping the inflammation down and using the BFST to stimulate nutrient rich blood flow through the affected area, you will see much quicker results compared to doing nothing.  Try to rest as much as possible and use more cold on the days it acts up.
It is hard to give you an idea on time frame for healing as there are so many variables.  It depends on how severe it is, your day to day activity as well as your commitment to the treatment.  With regular use you will see improvement and results within a couple weeks.  You will not be 100% healed, but you will more than confident you are on the right track.

For so many people it is worth a shot to use these products as we have seem great success for a variety of ailments and injuries.

We wish you all the best and please let us know if you have any further questions.  I have also included a link to more information on TFCC injuries and treatment.
