Treatment Questions / Using your BFST over clothing

We get this question often.  Depending on what area you are treating and where you are doing your treatment, it may not be convenient to place the BFST directly on the skin.

While it is best to treat on the the skin you can do it over clothing if necessary.  It will reduce the effectiveness minimally but it is better than skipping a treatment all together.  Ensure it is not over any thick material such as wool socks for example.  A thin cotton pair would be best.

Treatment Questions / Using the BFST and ColdCure while staying active

While rest is the best option for recovery, some don't always have the option...or the want to stay still.  If you are continuing to stay active during your recovery from injury, incorporate your treatments around it.

Use BFST before.  This will help warm up the area internally and help prevent again over straining and be sure to get the ColdCure on after.  Inflammation acts like a barrier for good blood flow and if you put additional strain on the tissues, you need to reduce the inflammation to enable the blood to continuously get at the soft tissues to help heal and repair.

Don't forget to use KB Tape to support the area to help protect the tendons and ligaments from over extension.

Don't push yourself.  If what you are doing hurts, stop or modify.

General Discussion / Staying active with a Bakers Cyst

We have the discussion with many of our customers on how can continue staying active while dealing with their injury.  We always recommend to rest and not to push it.  The last thing you would want to do is re-injure or further aggravate the knee.  Keeping the inflammation down behind the knee is the best way the stimulated blood flow will effectively heal the underlying issue causing the cyst.

For those who continue to stay active, what are some of the exercises or modifications on exercises you recommend?

Swimming? Yoga?

Product Warranty & Returns / Warranty

Our products come with a year's defects warranty.

After discussion with a Customer Service Representative to ascertain the nature of the fault, the defective component will be replaced free of charge and will also be shipped out at no cost, by regular mail.

On a case by case basis, we may request that the faulty component be returned to us for further testing and quality control.

Once you log your feedback, we will verify who you are and confirm that the product(s) you mention in your feedback are what you actually purchased. The FDA and Health Canada also require by law that all testimonials are traceable to their source to prevent false claims.  This provides readers with the reassurance that you have independent, unbiased feedback based on real experiences.
