Customer Feedback / Totally satisfied with products and CS
« on: December 18, 2021, 09:33:49 AM »
I appreciate that CS isn't trying to sell us more units when we call in. I began with BFST and Coolwrap back and then received the BFST foot more recently. Now the BFST and Coolwrap leg units are enroute to me. CS also advises that the leg unit is very versatile and can be used on other body parts. Earlier they had suggested I could use the backwrap for my plantar by placing wrap on floor, which I did, and then I ordered the plantar boot BFST.

Customer Feedback / quad muscles pain
« on: December 16, 2021, 10:40:44 AM »

I strained my right and left quads two days ago in, of all places, physical therapy, caused by lifting a 10 lb kettle weight while doing 3 reps of 10 squats,  and had to cancel my therapy appt. for today. I started third day of the cold cure wraps and some BFST yesterday. The legs still hurt as I sit down and more when I have to rise. Although I no problem with squats doing chair yoga, I never used weights. I'm 83 and my legs were not in condition for that much workout.

My wife regularly uses a heating pad for her back pain. Should we not use BFST wrap while her skin is still hot?

Customer Feedback / BFST for sore rib muscles
« on: September 24, 2021, 06:30:05 AM »
After seeing an urgent care doctor for pain in the muscles over my ribs due to a fall on a sidewalk obstruction, I used the BFST back wrap. Three to six weeks usual healing time, the doc said. No treatment advised. I had experienced this condition years ago when I banged my ribs on re-entering a kayak after a spill and it was weeks of discomfort before it healed. Already having a BFST hip and back wrap, I began treating the sore area three times a day. By the fourth day, the soreness had disappeared. Four days with BFST versus four weeks of no treatment. If I needed proof of what BFST can achieve, I found it.

General Discussion / tightness in feet after night's sleep
« on: August 11, 2021, 11:10:01 PM »
When I awake in the a.m the bottom of my feet feel very tight. It's not painful, but uncomfortable. I don't notice this feeling during the day.I'm 82 and for the past few years have not done exercise walking due to sciatic pain (I am one week into the back and hip cold wrap and a few days on the BFST back and hip. Both wraps have reduced the sciatic pain significantly.) Also, I suffered from painful plantar fasciitis which began five or six years ago which impaired my walking. The use of orthotics relieved the pain, and now I'm wondering if this tightness is related to the plantar fasciitis.

Treatment Questions / Wait time between cold and BFST?
« on: August 08, 2021, 06:20:23 AM »
Although the instructions indicate the user should wait 1 hour after a cold application before using BFST, the cold treatment area still feels somewhat cold after an hour?  (My cold gel packs are from the refrigerator temperature of 40 F degrees).  Will the BFST be effective after the 1 hr. wait time?
