Relieve Pain & Swelling Fast
Take control of your recovery with a King Brand®ColdCure® Wrap. There's no better treatment for pain and swelling. There are a lot of cold wraps and ice packs out there, but none come even close to ours. Our Wraps use both cold and compression to give you the fastest and most effective relief of pain and swelling possible. Our gel packs contain our own unique gel formula called XC RigiGel®. These outstanding gel packs have many benefits ordinary gel packs just don't have. You can't find this amazing technology anywhere else.
XC RigiGel® Keeps The Cold In Place
Only ColdCure® gel packs contain our unique XC RigiGel® formula. XC RigiGel® is soft to the touch but doesn't move around under pressure. This means it stays in place to treat your injury, so you get an even and consistent cold treatment over the entire injured area, every time. No matter how hard you press on the gel, it stays in place. It will give a bit for comfort but it won't move away from your painful injury.
Keeping the cold on your injured foot throughout treatment is very important if you want to relieve the pain and swelling as quickly as possible. Unlike traditional ice packs, XC RigiGel®doesn't flow away to other parts of the pack, even when put under heavy pressure for long periods of time. When inside the wrap, our gel packs conform perfectly to your foot. In terms of flex and form, XC RigiGel® packs feel exactly the same at room temperature as they do straight out of the freezer. They're firm yet flexible at any temperature for the most comfortable treatments possible.
While the gel itself doesn't move around inside the pack, the cold energy does. Traditional ice packs have hot and cold spots, but our XC RigiGel® formula distributes the cold energy evenly throughout the pack. When cold pressure is applied to a foot injury, the gel starts to warm up in that specific spot faster than the rest of the pack. Our temperature-balancing gel works to move the cold where it's needed within the gel pack, eliminating the potential for hot spots. This means your painful foot injury will receive the cooling power of the entire gel pack every time you apply it out of the freezer.
Tons of XC RigiGel® Makes Tons of Difference
The Walgreens factory tested our gel and found that pound for pound, our gel held over 3x more cold per pound than the best gel they had to offer. The results were staggering.
Not only do our gel packs hold more cold, they also cover a larger area and contain more gel than standard gel packs. This makes a huge difference in the treatment you receive. Most traditional gel packs only contain a little bit of gel, because a gel pack with tons of gel is a lot more expensive to make. But if you really want to feel better and reduce your pain and swelling, a gel pack with tons of gel is exactly what you need. Our XC RigiGel® packs are the solution. A bigger pack with more gel inside means faster and more effective relief of your pain and swelling.
The ColdCure® Foot Wrap comes included with 3 gel packs. This means you can have 1 gel pack inside the wrap for your treatment and 2 more charging in the freezer, so you can swap them in and out quickly to keep your cold therapy going. XC RigiGel® packs are large enough to cover the entire treatment area on your foot, but they're never bulky. King Brand® gel packs contain 10x more gel per pound than other products on the market. This means a huge difference in the treatment you receive. And this brings you value.
***Proven to hold 10 TIMES as much cold per pound as pharmacy name brand wraps.*** ***Proven Better than ALL other Cold Wraps!***

For Safer Treatments Follow RCCE®, Not RICE
Most people think that RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation - is the formula to follow when treating a soft tissue injury. The truth is that temperatures below freezing can be too cold to effectively relieve pain and swelling. And these temperatures can also be dangerous. Ice can actually freeze your skin and numb your nerves, causing 'cold burns' and even permanent damage to your underlying tissue. The proper solution is RCCE® - Rest, Cold, Compression & Elevation. We don't want to apply ice, we want to apply cold that is just above freezing. You want cold - and lots of it - but not so cold that it is below the freezing point of water.
ColdCure® RigiGel® packs are much safer and more effective than ice and products that use mushy blue gel. Why? Because RigiGel® packs are like ice, but they stay at 32°F / 0°C. While they may start at about -4°F / -20°C straight from the freezer, after a few minutes they will go to 32°F / 0°C and stay at 32°F / 0°C for a long time. This is the ideal temperature for cold therapy, because it's cold enough to effectively relieve your pain and swelling, but safe enough to not cause cold burns. Ice and blue gel packs will also start out at -4°F / -20°C and rapidly go to 32°F / 0°C, but then their temperature will keep rising quickly, instead of staying in the safe, effective zone.
We have made it simple and easy to use our cold packs. If the gel packs are too stiff to place into the wrap, then they are simply too cold to be applied to your foot. Let them sit on the counter for a few minutes to warm up to a effective and comfortable temperature. You will know it's ready, because the gel pack will be flexible enough to fit into your wrap.
KB Support Tapeprovides your injured foot with extra support and protection. This helps to prevent re-injury. It also works to relieve your swelling throughout the day. Wear it between your ColdCure® treatments and during physical activity.
KB Support Tapecomes in 2 different styles: Pre-Cut Strips and a Continuous Roll. These 2 styles also come in 3 different colors: Blue, Black & Beige. There's no functional difference between the colors, they just allow you to express your personal style.
The Pre-Cut Strips of KB Support Tape are perfect for you if you want to use your tape on-the-go. Since they're already cut into ready-to-use strips, you can just apply and go! Each roll of Pre-Cut Support Tape contains 20 individual strips. Each Pre-Cut Strip is 2 inches wide and 10 inches long.
The Continuous Rolls of KB Support Tape are ideal for you if you're looking for a more customizable Tape. You can cut the Tape into a variety of different shapes and sizes to achieve a completely unique application for your foot injury. Each box contains 1 Continuous Roll of KB Support Tape that is 2 inches wide and 16 feet long.
The above application is for Bottom of Foot Pain. The application that's right for you will depend on the type of foot injury you have and the location. The tape is to support your injury, so move the tape to where you feel the pain, and apply as needed. We encourage you to try different applications for your specific foot injury to find the one that's right for you.
What Is the Purpose of Swelling?
Swelling is a sign of the body's desire to immobilize the affected area. Swelling means that the soft tissue deep below the skin is injured and bleeding. This blood leaks out into the interstitial fluid in your body. Using cold is a good idea when you have swelling because this reduces the flow of the internal bleeding. Swelling is the body's natural way to compress your nerves. However, using a cold compression device is much more effective because this helps to reduce the pain, which is a result of the swelling itself. Get rid of the pain and the swelling by using cold compression, and you're that much closer to healing. Cold by itself or compression by itself is okay, but nowhere near as effective as both at the same time.
When Should Cold Therapy Be Used & Why Does It Help?
Cold therapy is ideal for use on acute injuries, usually in the first 24-48 hours after injury, or longer depending on the amount of inflammation in the affected area. Cold therapy should be the first step in treating any fresh tissue injury because it constricts the blood vessels, slowing the flow of blood. This is important because slowing the flow of blood will reduce swelling in the area, thereby helping to relieve your pain. Cold also helps to relieve pain by numbing the injured area.
It's important to understand that while cold therapy is an essential first step to healing, cold itself won't heal your underlying injury. The purpose of cold is to eliminate your inflammation and help with the pain.
Cold therapy should be used for 20 minutes at a time. You should rely more heavily on ColdCure® treatments after exercise because the inflammation will continue to re-develop when you are active, even if you don't feel pain. Being aggressive with back to back ColdCure® treatments after activity will give your body a chance to get ahead of the inflammation and to prepare the injury for the blood flow that's needed to help heal quickly. Depending on where your injury is located, and the severity of your injury will determine how long you need to use Cold Therapy.
Cold therapy is not only effective for new injuries, but for re-injuries as well. Your body creates inflammation to protect itself from further damage, so regular use of ColdCure® treatments after activity will ensure that you're always one step ahead of the inflammation. Use cold therapy if you experience any flare-ups of pain or swelling during the recovery process.
Cold therapy isn't necessary for every injury. If you're not experiencing pain, swelling or inflammation, you don't need to use cold and can start with blood flow stimulation.
How Does Cold Reduce Pain & Swelling?
If you apply cold to a soft tissue injury for long enough, your nerves will eventually go numb. This interferes with the signals being sent to your brain that register pain. Cold also causes a decrease in blood flow at the site of your injury, which is what helps eliminate swelling. Cold therapy causes your blood vessels to constrict, putting a stop to the increase in blood flow at the site, which decreases your inflammation. The act of bringing down inflammation also helps to relieve pain.
What Is the Purpose of Pain?
Pain is a common symptom of most soft tissue injuries. It's your body's way of telling you there's a problem. The pain is also there to stop you from making the injury worse. Your response to pain should be to rest and avoid any activities that could cause further injury.
Without the presence of pain, you risk feeling a false sense of ability that can cause you to overdo it physically, leading to re-injury and a much longer recovery time. Cold and compression are much safer and more effective than painkillers. That's because painkillers interfere with your body's ability to warn you that there's something wrong, while cold and compression don't. Painkillers block the pain, but if you're using cold compression, you can still tell when doing an activity is causing pain. Pain killers should be restricted to times of rest.
When it comes to pain killers, some products are much more effective than others. Some can actually help your injury when used correctly and others will only make it worse. According to the National Institute of Health, our own government body tells us that Acetaminophen overdose is the leading cause for calls to Poison Control Centers (>100,000/year) and accounts for more than 56,000 emergency room visits. And acetaminophen (Tylenol) won't help you get better one bit. It only puts you at risk of more injury. If you want help choosing the right pain killer and want advice on how to use it more safely and correctly, give us a call at 1-844-400-2525. We will give you excellent guidance. No charge. No purchase necessary.

King Brand® soft tissue rehabilitation medical products are the #1 choice of top Athletic Therapists and Medical Practitioners worldwide. We provide guaranteed results and customer satisfaction. Like all King Brand® products, there simply isn't a better performing option. All King Brand® products come with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Try our products and if you are not completely impressed, you can send them back for a full refund. We know you will love them though because thousands of people already use them and rave about the results.
The King Brand® products shown are FDA Registered medical devices. That is not all. They are also registered with Health Canada which means they get twice as much review.
FDA and Health Canada Registration does not mean that we fill out a form to become Registered. Our claims are quite significant, and because of these claims the government agencies visit for week-long inspections to ensure that the end user is always receiving the safest effective medical devices we can offer. With two different countries of regulators this means our products get twice the oversight, ensuring exceptional quality and performance.
It is not required but we are also ISO-13485 compliant and registered. This enforces standards are established by the International Standards Organization for global manufacturers of medical devices. This means more on-site week long audits every year ensuring our quality and products meet strict international standards.
It is not required by any regulator, but we use only the safest materials in our products. ISO-10993 regulation ensures that our products are made from higher quality materials than most baby products, including diapers. This is the highest bio-compatibility safety standard in the world. This is the highest hospital grade - think Intensive Care and Operating Rooms. Our materials go through ISO-10993 testing to ensure they are safe for you. No consumer products are produced to this high standard.
King Brand products are, in fact, hospital grade through and through. ISO-60601 is the International Standard for Medical Device safety from an electrical standpoint. In spite of the BFST® being an electrical device, BFST® can be used in hospital emergency rooms and operating rooms without affecting other equipment. You can use any medical device with a BFST® and neither device will know the other one is there. This is a very tough standard to meet, but we do it and you benefit.
King Brand products meet over 20 different safety and quality standards that are not required even for medical devices and FDA registration. If we think there is anything that can be done to make our products safer and more effective, we have done it. That is the approach to everything we do and that is why our company and products are so highly regarded.
We have knee ice packs, ankle ice packs, shoulder ice packs, elbow ice packs, back ice packs and general ice packs.
ColdCure plantar wraps have reusable ice packs. Reusable gel packs are a better name. Foot ice packs are actually not as good as cold packs. Our gel packs stay cold and stay in place. There are many reusable foot icepacks on the market, but none are as good as coldcure for relieving shoulder pain and keeping you safe. A reusable plantar ice pack and cold wrap that are stored in the freezer can be dangerous. They can cause the skin to freeze. ColdCure cold foot wraps don't have that danger. There is only one excellent Cold compression foot wrap. The best foot ice pack and foot cold wrap is the coldcure foot wrap.
