One Super Important Fact:
You don't need to resort to cortisone injections or surgery in order to get rid of your Tendinitis. You can heal your Tendinitis with conservative treatments.
Heal Your Tendinitis Quickly
We know you're in a lot of pain. We know you just want to be able to get back to your regular activities as quickly as possible. We also know that you want to heal without the risks and complications that can come with injections and surgeries. That's why we developed the professional tools you need to get rid of your Tendinitis the conservative way. These tools are called the ColdCure® & BFST® Wraps.
The Ultimate Solution:
If you really want to get better, here's exactly what you need to do.
- Wear a ColdCure® Wrap as much as possible to relieve your pain and swelling and protect the affected area from further damage.
- Do a BFST® treatment first thing every morning. Do 2 or 3 more BFST® treatments throughout the day. This will help you heal quickly.
- Avoid re-straining the area as much as possible. KB Support Tape can help with this. Giving your body a rest is hard, but it is very important in the early stages of healing your Tendinitis.
Do this and your Tendinitis can truly heal - finally.
Blood Flow Is Essential For Healing
You don't have to wait. You can heal much more quickly with the right treatment. For Tendinitis, blood flow is the most critical element in rapid recovery. Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy® (BFST®) gives your damaged tissues the blood flow they need to heal quickly and completely.
BFST® brings oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the injured area. This increase in blood flow works to actively heal your damaged tissue. Unfortunately, an injury at rest usually has very limited blood flow. While physical activity promotes blood flow, it can also lead to re-injury and a worsened condition. With a BFST® Wrap, blood flow can be stimulated in the affected area while you're at rest. With improved blood flow and without physical activity and the risk of re-injury, you can recover from your Tendinitis at a surprisingly rapid rate.
BFST® Devices are Electrical Medical Appliances that
actively stimulate blood flow in injured tissue.
BFST® devices are NOT wraps or braces designed to simply lessen joint strain.
When your injury is at rest, blood flow to the area is impaired. It's healthy, high-quality blood flow that enables the healing process, so additional blood flow is required for your Tendinitis to heal properly and quickly. This is exactly why BFST® treatments are the key to rapid recovery.
BFST® treatments are very pleasant and relaxing. You may notice a slight tingling sensation and warmth deep within the treatment area as the BFST® Wrap starts increasing your blood flow. The effects of each 20 minute treatment last for up to 4 hours. That's why we recommend doing 3-4 treatments per day, spread out throughout the day. An ideal treatment plan is one treatment first thing in the morning, another treatment in the afternoon, a treatment in the evening, and the last treatment of the day right before bed.
Almost as important as stimulating blood flow is the reminder of your injury. Without any reminder that you've been injured, you risk feeling a false sense of ability. This can result in re-injury and a much longer recovery time. Avoiding re-injury is fundamental to rapid recovery. That's why we recommend that you continue wearing your BFST® Wrap between treatments. This will go a long way towards shortening your recovery time. When your treatment ends, simply unplug the controller from the device and gently tighten your wrap. This will provide light support and protection for your injury and serve as a reminder that you need to move with care.
Dealing with Pain
Tendinitis can be extremely painful and debilitating, causing us to turn to painkillers for some relief. Analgesics and NSAIDs such as ASA, acetaminophen or ibuprofen are often used to treat the pain but these drugs do nothing to treat the actual condition. In fact, analgesics and NSAIDs are known blood thinners and make the bleeding worse for fresh tissue injuries. Typical pain medications actually interfere with the healing process. Cortisone injections are used in extreme cases but these too are intended to address the pain. They do not promote healing of the injury and they put you at a very high risk of further injury.
Painkillers are BAD, Not Good
Painkillers only mask the pain. They don't do anything to treat the underlying condition. When you mask the pain, this can cause you to feel a false sense of ability, making you think it's ok to be active. This can lead to re-injury and a lengthened recovery time. It's understandable that you may need to take painkillers to help control the pain. If you do use painkillers, try to limit them to times when you're at rest. Using them when you are active is a recipe for permanent damage.
ColdCure® Wraps are a safe, effective alternative to painkillers. They do a superior job of eliminating the pain and swelling associated with Tendinitis, without the dangers of painkillers. They even work faster. While painkillers take 20 minutes to start working, you will feel relief as soon as you put a ColdCure® Wrap on. Not only are they incredibly soothing, they also provide light support and protection for the affected area.
ColdCure® Devices Reduce Pain and Swelling.
ColdCure® Devices are NOT typical cold or ice packs.
ColdCure® Wraps provide superior cold compression to relieve the pain and swelling of your Tendinitis. We have ColdCure® Wraps for all parts of the body, so no matter where your Tendinitis is located, we have a product that will target the area perfectly. In order to be as effective as possible, the compression needs to be uniform and complete, and this is exactly what ColdCure® Wraps provide.
ColdCure® Wraps were designed to address the need for a cold compression device that does not freeze the skin or underlying tissue. Our gel packs pose no threat of cold burns. This makes them much safer to use than other products that use ice, which can cause the skin to freeze, leading to permanent damage. ColdCure® gel packs are completely safe to use for extended treatment durations, meaning faster relief of pain and swelling. Our ColdCure® technology is a huge improvement on regular ice packs.
Each ColdCure® Wrap comes with swappable gel packs that contain our unique gel formula. Unlike other gels that are mushy and watery, our gel is firm but also flexible. The formula doesn't move around. It stays in place to treat your injury, even under heavy pressure for long periods of time. The gel packs are inserted inside the wrap one at a time, so you can have the other packs charging in the freezer to keep your cold therapy going. Do treatments in 20 minute intervals throughout the day, or as long as you need relief.

Protect Your Injury Between Treatments
When you're not doing BFST® or ColdCure® treatments, your already damaged tissue becomes vulnerable to further injury. You don't want to re-injure your fragile, healing tissue and make your Tendinitis worse than it already is. Apply KB Support Tape over the affected area between your BFST® and ColdCure® treatments. This will provide your injured tissue with ongoing support and protection.
Our skin is soft and elastic and can stretch much more than the tissue underneath. When you apply KB Support Tape to your skin, it becomes a much more rigid surface than before, serving to limit how much the skin can stretch. The Tape makes your skin a source of outside support to hold your tissue in place, helping to prevent re-injury. That's why we call it armor for your injury.
KB Support Tape - Use All Day During Work & Play
KB Support Tape provides lightweight, comfortable compression to relieve your swelling throughout the day. It also helps to prevent re-injury by giving your healing tissue targeted support and protection without restricting your range of motion.
KB Support Tape comes in 2 different styles: Pre-Cut Strips and a Continuous Roll. These styles also come in 4 colors: Pink, Blue, Black & Beige. There's no functional difference between the colors, they just allow you to express your individual style.
The Pre-Cut Strips of KB Support Tape are fast, easy and convenient. Since they already cut into ready-to-use strips, you can just apply and go! Every roll of Pre-Cut KB Support Tape contains 20 individual strips. Each Pre-Cut strip is 2 inches wide and 10 inches long.
The Continuous Rolls of KB Support Tape are perfect for you if you're looking for a more customizable tape. You can cut the Tape into a variety of different shapes and sizes to achieve a completely unique application for your Tendinitis. Each box contains 1 Continuous Roll of KB Support Tape that is 2 inches wide and 16 feet long.
Part of the above application was applied over clothing for demonstration purposes only. When using this application, apply it directly to your skin.
While we found the above application effective for Tibialis Anterior Tendonitis, it's only an example. We encourage you to try different applications for your specific type of Tendinitis to find the one that works best for you. Also, remember to trust the pain. If you feel pain in a specific area of your ankle, apply the tape there.
The Medical Tape Advantage
What sets KB Support Tape apart from the rest? It's not athletic tape, it's medical tape. This means our Tape is manufactured to ISO 10993 standards, which ensures that our Tape is made from extremely safe, biocompatible materials. Our Tape is actually made from safer materials than most baby products, including diapers, toys and clothing. Don't let the big brand tapes fool you. Most of them are made from toxic materials, because there are no standards for athletic tape. Some big brand tape glues even contain carcinogenic ingredients. At King Brand®, your health and safety are of utmost importance, which is why KB Support Tape is manufactured to such high standards.

Combination Therapy BFST® + ColdCure® Treatments
for Rapid Healing
for Pain & Swelling
to Prevent Re-Injury
Combination Therapy means using ColdCure® and BFST® in combination by alternating treatments, as well as using KB Support Tape between your treatments. Combination Therapy is much more effective than using just one product or the other. This is because you're getting both the pain and swelling relief of ColdCure®, the healing benefits of BFST®, and the protection and re-injury prevention of KB Support Tape, resulting in the absolute best treatment for your Tendinitis.
Use the ColdCure® Wrap several times a day to help reduce not only the visible swelling you may see on the surface, but also the inflammation you may have and cannot see, deep down in the soft tissue.
Avoid using the BFST® Wrap until your inflammation and swelling has subsided. Start your BFST® treatments on Level 1. For maximum benefit, please take into consideration that each 20 minute treatment optimizes your blood circulation for an average of 4 hours. We recommend 3-4 treatments daily, spread throughout the day. During the day, do a BFST® treatment every 4 hours or before any type of physical activity. This can include anything that puts a strain on the injured area (lifting something, typing on a computer, walking for extended periods, etc). This can also be used for preventative measures after a full recovery to optimize your blood flow.
Do a ColdCure® treatment any time you experience a pain flare-up or after any physical activity to prevent further injury and reduce swelling and inflammation. Wait 30-45 minutes after your ColdCure® treatment before doing another BFST® treatment. This time will allow the blood flow and body temperature to regulate again. Refrain from using ColdCure® within the 4 hours following your 20 minute BFST® treatment. This will counteract the treatment. If necessary, use the ColdCure® Wrap for pain control, then follow up with another BFST® treatment.
Any time you're not doing a ColdCure® or BFST® treatment, wear KB Support Tape over the affected area. If you're taping and doing multiple BFST® treatments throughout the day, do your first BFST® treatment before the Tape is applied and your last treatment after the Tape has been removed at the end of the day.

Medical Function - BFST® Wrap - Accelerated Healing
The BFST® Wrap is an FDA Registered Class II medical device. As a medical grade product, the BFST® device meets very high standards of quality, safety and performance. And it's these high standards that the devices are designed and manufactured to. BFST® devices comply with hundreds of pages of regulations and standards.
The Blood Flow Stimulation Therapy® (BFST®) Wrap is designed to promote blood flow in injured tissue below the dermal (fat and skin) layer. Utilizing our proprietary Energy Web®, specially controlled and incredibly safe, low levels of EMR energy envelop the affected body part and stimulate blood flow in the soft tissue deep beneath the skin. The resulting stimulation brings oxygen and nutrient-rich blood to the injured area, accelerating the healing process.
BFST® Wraps come with a 3 level power controller. Everyone should start their treatments at Level 1 and work their way through the levels gradually as they heal. Proceeding immediately to Level 2 or 3 will not speed up your healing time. You need to condition the body first.
When you first start your treatments on Level 1, the treatment area will feel quite warm. This is because at first, your circulation is poor. The more treatments you do, the better your circulation will become and the less warmth you will feel. This is good. As the warmth lessens from treatment to treatment, this is an indication that your circulation is improving. Better circulation means more blood flow all the time, not just during treatments. This is the goal. When you feel almost no warmth during a treatment, it is time to move up to the next power level. Don't rush it though, more heat doesn't mean better treatment. In fact, less heat means better treatment, so take your time moving up in levels.
When it comes to therapeutic benefits, BFST® Wraps are far superior to heating pads. BFST® Wraps work to heal your injury by bringing additional blood flow to the damaged tissues, deep below the skin. Heating pads bring blood to the surface of your skin, making it hot to the touch. This doesn't do anything to heal the injury. There is a huge difference between a BFST® Wrap and a heating pad.
The Energy Web® of the BFST® device is inserted inside a soft, comfortable neoprene wrap. All of our BFST® Wraps are designed for a specific body part, so the Energy Web® conforms to the affected area. This means you get an even distribution of energy over the entire injury. The Velcro® straps attached to the wrap allow you to find the right fit for your body shape. These wraps are extremely easy to adjust. You don't have to remove the BFST® Wrap after treatment. Keep wearing it to act as a reminder of your injury and help prevent further damage to the affected area.
Complete the Healing Process
When you're recovering from Tendinitis, the pain ends long before you're done healing. In fact, the pain is usually gone once your tissue is about 20-30% healed. The entire healing process is very complex, and much longer than most people realize. (You can click here for the full story). The key thing to remember is that long after the pain, your Tendinitis is still healing. This means you need to keep doing BFST® treatments in order to complete the healing process. Doing regular BFST® treatments for several months after the pain is gone is extremely beneficial. Do a BFST® treatment prior to any physical activity. This will act as a warm up for your circulatory system. You should also continue to use KB Support Tape to help protect the affected area from re-injury.
Medical Function - ColdCure® Wrap - Extreme Pain Relief
The ColdCure® Wrap is an FDA Registered Class I medical device. These medical grade devices exceed all government and health agency regulatory requirements for cold therapy, specifically for use in treating soft tissue injuries. Cold and compression applied to an injury immediately reduces the risk of damage that can result from excessive swelling. Doctors and Therapists agree that controlling swelling is a fundamental part of reducing long term, permanent damage resulting from soft tissue injuries.
ColdCure® RigiGel® packs are much safer and more effective than ice and products that use mushy blue gel. Why? Because RigiGel® packs are like ice, but they stay at 0°C. While they may start at about -20°C straight from the freezer, after a few minutes they will go to 0°C and stay at 0°C for a long time. This is the ideal temperature for cold therapy, because it's cold enough to relieve your pain and swelling, but safe enough to not cause cold burns. Ice and blue gel packs will also start at -20°C and rapidly go to 0°C, but then their temperature keeps rising quickly, instead of staying in the safe, effective zone of 0°C. The XC Gel® danger zone is very small, but the benefits are huge.
While XC Gel® packs are designed to be stored in the freezer, you can store them in the fridge if you find them too cold from the freezer. Not all freezers are the same. If you find that the gel is too stiff from the freezer, leave it out for 1-2 minutes before inserting it inside the wrap. When the pack is soft enough to bend, it's ready to use for treatment.
Many people follow the RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression & Elevation - formula when treating a soft tissue injury, but most of these people probably aren't aware of the dangers that ice pose. Ice can actually freeze your skin and numb your nerves, causing 'cold burns' and even permanent damage to your underlying tissue. The proper solution is RCCE® - Rest, Cold, Compression & Elevation. We don't want to apply ice - we want to apply cold that is just above freezing. Yes, you want cold - and lots of it - but not so cold that it is below the freezing point of water.
ColdCure® XC Gel® packs contain 10x more gel per lb than other products, for maximum coverage of your injury. When stored in the freezer, our XC Gel® packs also have 3x more cooling power per lb than other products. This means less time getting up to swap out gel packs. It also means faster relief of your pain and swelling. Bigger packs with more gel inside, plus superior cooling power equals an overall better, more effective treatment.
ColdCure® gel packs are all specially designed for a specific part of the body. Each one is custom designed so it covers the entire injured area and conforms to the body part. This ensures that you receive an even distribution of cooling power over the entire injured area. We don't just have one generic gel pack shape that we use with all of our wraps. Every part of the body has a unique shape, which is why our gel packs are uniquely shaped as well. ColdCure® Wraps were 100% designed to treat Tendinitis.
Unique XC® RigiGel Formula
While other gel packs have hot and cold spots, our XC RigiGel® formula helps to distribute the cold energy evenly throughout the pack. When cold pressure is applied to an area with Tendinitis, the gel starts to warm up in that specific area faster than the rest of the pack. The cold energy in our gel packs is transferred from the cold spots to the warm spots much more effectively. This is a valuable improvement as your hot, swollen injury will receive the cooling power of the entire pack. The temperature-balancing power of this gel formula is unmatched.
XC Gel® packs have 2 different colored sides: a white side and a gold side. Both sides will give you all the same benefits that our high performance XC RigiGel® has to offer. XC Gel® packs can be inserted inside the wrap with the white side facing towards your body or away from your body since they are not side specific.
